Wow! What an article! But I have to say I have only seen 3 of the films that are listed. Yikes! I’m not the movie buffs you four are, but one film is missing. It’s The Holdovers! It’s such a beautiful story that reminds each one of us the importance of being there for others.

I had the Holdovers on my long list of honorable mentions. One of my favorite movies in the last couple years!

Never heard of Walk Hard, but putting it in the queue. And The Florida Project is due for a rewatch. As is Zero Dark Thirty if I can find my copy.
You’ll never watch a music biopic the same way again, JD. That’s how successful it is at lampooning the genre.
